Senior AI Engineer

Your mission

At DAALAB, we’re building AI that works in the real world. As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll be both a technical leader and hands-on specialist: designing and implementing production-grade AI solutions, turning prototypes into reliable systems, and guiding colleagues in best practices. You’ll shape architecture and tooling choices, connect backend, data science, and product needs, and ensure our AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

What you’ll do?

• Lead the design and development of AI-driven features
• Rapidly prototype and deliver production-ready solutions with measurable impact
• Select, evaluate, and implement emerging AI frameworks, APIs, and agent-based tools
• Integrate LLMs, Agents, and orchestration (toolcalling, MCP) into complex, modular systems
• Contribute across the stack—frontend, backend, and data pipelines—to deliver end-to-end GenAI applications
• Debug, benchmark, and optimize solutions in real-world environments
• Mentor medior and junior engineers on AI tooling and integration
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product, and stakeholders to bridge innovation with business value
• Share knowledge, lead design reviews, and contribute to internal standards and documentation

Your profile

What you’ll need

Expert Python programming with clean, modular code
5+ years of full-stack development (Python and JavaScript/TypeScript)
Proven experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and orchestration platforms (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen)
Strong system integration and architectural design skills
Comfort with APIs, automation workflows, and rapid prototyping at scale
Hands-on experience deploying LLM-driven projects into production
Up-to-date knowledge of AI developments and how to apply them
Ability to balance business, product, and engineering needs
A mentoring mindset with a drive to elevate team practices
Qualifications
5+ years in AI-focused engineering roles (AI Engineer, ML Engineer, or Software Engineer)
Proven experience integrating AI components into production (agents, orchestration, workflows)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
